Dalat, the world of Alice in Wonderland

Immersive visit of Dalat: between nature and fantasy

To discover Dalat is to enter a separate universe, an enchanted parenthesis where nature seems to dialogue with the imagination. Perched on the highlands of Central Vietnam, the city reveals itself as a soft and misty setting, where each path seems to invite one to cross the threshold of a parallel world. The air is cooler, lighter, and the light, as filtered by a dream, transforms landscapes into amazing scenes.

Here, the atmosphere sometimes evokes a modern tale, almost a nod to Alice in Wonderland: colorful houses worthy of a fantastic setting, flowery gardens that stretch as far as the eye can see, winding bridges, pine forests that seem to whisper secret stories. And then, at the bend of a path, arises the creative audacity of Dalat: unusual architectures, artists’ workshops, unexpected places that seem to challenge the rules of the real world.

Throughout this immersive tour, you explore a surprising, sensitive and vibrant Dalat. Between generous nature, artistic inspirations and magical atmospheres, the city opens the doors to an adventure where one lets oneself be guided by curiosity, like Alice following a white rabbit towards the unknown.

It is here that the historical and cultural heart of the country beats, where each street, each facade and each market tells a part of Vietnamese history.

This visit of Hanoi invites you to explore the emblematic sites of the capital: the temple of literature, the Tran Quoc pagoda, the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, but also the alleys of the old district of the 36 corporations, living symbol of the Hanoian soul.

Accompanied by a passionate English-speaking guide, you will discover the local customs, street food and the daily life of the inhabitants, while enjoying an authentic and warm atmosphere.
Far from the classic tourist circuits, this excursion highlights a living and inspiring Hanoi, where past and present coexist in perfect harmony.

Between culture, spirituality and lifestyle, this day in the Vietnamese capital is an ideal gateway to understand Vietnam yesterday and today.

Explore Hanoi, cultural capital of Vietnam

With more than a millennium of history, Hanoi is much more than a capital: it is a living soul, shaped by imperial dynasties, French colonization and Asian modernity.
Between secular traditions and contemporary effervescence, the city offers a subtle mix of culture, spirituality and everyday charm.

A millennial heritage at the heart of modernity

Founded in the 11th century under the name of Thang Long (“the Dragon taking flight”), Hanoi was for centuries the political and cultural center of Vietnam.
Its temples, pagodas and palaces still bear witness to this past grandeur, while its tree-lined boulevards and colonial houses recall the elegance of the French era.

Today, the city harmoniously combines its historical heritage with its contemporary vitality: lively cafes, art galleries, street markets and musical scenes make Hanoi a vibrant and creative place.

Shedule of the visit of Hanoi

This guided tour of Hanoi is a full-day immersion in the heart of the Vietnamese capital, between historical heritage, lively culture and local lifestyle.

Our English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel around 9 a.m. Start your day with a cycle ride in the 36 corporations district, the oldest and most lively of the city.
Each street still bears the name of the trades of yesteryear – blacksmiths, weavers, silk merchants -, and the comings and goings of the inhabitants create a typically Hanoian atmosphere.
Let yourself be carried away by the leisurely pace of the cyclo to feel the authentic atmosphere of the old town.

Then take a gourmet break in a traditional café to savor the famous egg coffee, a specialty of Hanoi based on strong coffee and creamy egg cream.
A sweet and energizing experience, an essential during your stay in the capital.

You will continue the morning with a visit to Tran Quoc pagoda, one of the oldest Buddhist shrines in Vietnam, located on the shore of the great Ho Tay lake.
Its red huts, neat bonsais and the serenity of the lake make it a place of peaceful and spiritual beauty.

After lunch in a local restaurant, head to the temple of Literature, founded in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius.
This emblematic place, the first university in the country, symbolizes the intellectual and cultural tradition of Vietnam.
Its gardens and wooden pavilions invite meditation and respect for knowledge.

End this cultural day with a visit to the Vietnamese Women’s Museum, a modern and moving space that pays tribute to the essential role of women in society, family and history of Vietnam.

Tofu manufacturers embody Vietnamese simplicity and generosity: each bean is processed with care, respecting the natural cycle.
