Visit of the Mekong 2 days from Ho Chi Minh

Take time to vibrate to the rhythm of the Mekong during a private 2 day and 1 night tour. Choose one of the two options to discover the craft that exists in the meanders of the Delta and discover local life. Meet the locals by spending the night in homestay charms.

Opción 1: De Ho Chi Minh al mercado flotante de Cai Rang y el descubrimiento del cultivo del coco

Day 1 (L, D):

Depart around 8:30 a.m. from Ho Chi Minh City with our English speaking guide in the direction of the province of Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta. This city on the banks of the Mekong is full of local activities that you will discover during a boat trip. Visit a brick factory, see a coconut candy workshop, admire the painstaking work of weaving mats and visit a bonsai village before lunch.

In the afternoon, join Vinh Long to learn about your host’s life and activities in the Mekong before preparing dinner with them.

Day 2 (B, L):

At 6 a.m., go for breakfast to discover the floating market of Cai Rang where traders come from nearby villages exchange all kinds of products. Then, discover the land market and the house of Orchids of Binh Thuy before returning to Ho Chi Minh with a stop on the way to visit a small Caodaist temple.

Option 2: Discover the Vietnamese chocolate making

Day 1 (L, D):

Depart around 8:30 .a.m. from Ho Chi Minh with our English-speaking tour guide to Tien Giang province to discover the cocoa plantations.

Discover the farm and the process of preparing chocolate from the harvest of the pods to obtaining a chocolate bar.

Take the time to taste the different products of this artisanal factory then opportunity to pick cocoa beans, plant new ones and/ or make yourself a confectionery.

After lunch, join the homestay and meet your host then discover the surroundings by bike to immerse yourself in the landscapes of the Mekong before dinner and at the homestay.

Day 2 (B, L) :

After breakfast, drive to Ben Tré province in the Mekong Delta. This town on the banks of the Mekong River is full of diverse local activities that you will discover during a boat ride.

Visit a brick factory, discover a coconut candy making workshop, admire the meticulous work of weaving mats and visit a bonsai village before lunch and then back to Ho Chi Minh.
