Phú Yên, an authentic break in the heart of Vietnam
To discover Phú Yên is to choose to move away from the traditional routes and find a more confidential Vietnam, where nature, traditions and encounters still occupy an essential place. During these 4 days and 3 nights, each day reveals a new face of this preserved region of the central coast.
This trip is notably punctuated by 5 strong experiences: cycling through the fishing villages and observing the daily life of their inhabitants; sailing to the wild island of Cù Lao Mái Nhà and enjoying its still preserved beaches; to walk in the footsteps of the ancient populations of the Ancient Hill of Phu Hanh; to admire the spectacular basaltic columns of Gành Đá Đĩa, shaped by volcanic activity; and above all, to share simple moments with the inhabitants, notably around a lunch with a fishing family.
On foot, by bike or by boat, this discovery of Phú Yên favors a gentle rhythm and a true immersion in the territory. The landscapes are magnificent, but it is also the villages crossed, the stories told and the encounters that give meaning to the journey.
With Senteurs du Vietnam, we have imagined this excursion for curious travelers who want to take the time to discover a region still little known and experience an authentic Vietnam, natural and off the beaten track.
