This14-days discovery tour in Vietnam takes you through the most beautiful sites of the country, between mountains of the North, mythical bays and imperial cities.

Day 1 - Arrival in Hanoi, cultural capital of Vietnam

Our driver will meet you at the airport on your arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 - Discovery of Hanoi and its traditions B, L

Our English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel around 9 a.m.

Dive into the atmosphere of Hanoi in the 36-guild district during a cyclo ride.

Take a gourmet break and enjoy the egg coffee, a specialty of the city.

Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda on the shores of Ho Tay Lake.

After lunch, discover the Temple of Literature, before ending the day with a visit to the Vietnamese women’s museum where traditional women’s costumes are remarkably highlighted.

At the end of the day, assist to the waterpuppet show.

Day 3 - Road to Sapa, in the heart of the mountains of Tonkin B, L, D

Our English-speaking tour guide meets you around 9 a.m. Leave for the old town of Duong Lam where time seems to have stopped.

On the way, visit the Tay Phuong pagoda before arriving at the village of Mong Phu, a typical village in the Red River Delta with its history dating back more than 1,200 years and full of old houses dating from the 17th century. Walk through the small streets of the village in the middle of the laterite walls which have acquired this pretty brown color over time, discover the manufacture of soy sauce, taste specialties of the region and visit the town hall then lunch at home.

In the afternoon, visit Mia pagoda then Thay pagoda, known as the master’s pagoda. Then take the road to Sapa and have dinner at the hotel.

Day 4 - Hiking and Homestay in Sapa B, L, D

Departure around 9.30 a.m. with our English-speaking tour guide to visit Sapa, then trek on small mountain paths that take you to the villages to meet the inhabitants and discover the rice terraces (green between May and July; yellow between August and September, uncultivated between November and April).

Lunch in a small local restaurant.

In the afternoon, cross the Tả Phìn valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in the region with its beautiful bamboo forest, before heading to a family of the Red Dao minority group for a herbal bath before the dinner and night in the family.

Day 5 - Hiking and Homestay in Sapa B, L, D

After breakfast, go for a 17 km trek during the whole day. Head to the village of Suoi Thau to discover the incredible view from the pass that leads to the valley of Ta Phin and Ban Khoang with beautiful panoramic views over the entire valley.

For lunch, enjoy a picnic in nature then trek through the ricefields. Visit the salmon and sturgeon farm before meeting your host for the night. Dinner and night in the homestay.

Day 6 - From Sapa to Hanoi B, L

Early departure after breakfast, for the third day of walking in the countryside, cross small hamlets inhabited by black H'Mongs and red Dao, to discover the richness of their cultures.

Beautiful mountain landscapes will be revealed throughout the journey. Lunch in a small local restaurant. Arrive in the small village of Ta Giang Phin in the afternoon then go back to Sapa by car.

Possibility to take a shower before going to Hanoi by limousine bus.

Day 7 - Cruise in Tu Long Bay B, L, D

Departure by minibus around 7:15 a.m., towards the port of Hon Gai, at the entrance of the bay of Tu Long.
Upon arrival, board the boat and settle into your cabin before enjoying a lunch served on board, while the junk begins its navigation in the heart of spectacular landscapes.

In the afternoon, enjoy a kayak ride around Cap La Island, between karst peaks and turquoise lagoons. You can also swim in the calm waters of the bay or simply relax on the upper deck.

At the end of the day, witness the sunset over Tu Long Bay, a magical moment where the sky turns gold and pink. Dinner on board, followed by a free evening: stargazing or initiation to squid fishing, depending on the season.

Day 8 - Tu Long Bay - Hanoi - Flight to Hue B, L

Wake up gently to the sound of the waves, then have breakfast on board in the quiet of the morning.
Departure then for the visit of Thien Canh Son Cave, a natural jewel carved into the rock, offering a panoramic view of the bay.
You will discover the stalactites and stalagmites sculpted by time, in a mysterious and soothing atmosphere.

Back on the boat for brunch, while the junk slowly sails towards the port. Landing in the late morning to take the road from Hanoi airport for the flight to Hue and transfer to the hotel.

Day 9 - Hué, imperial city and Perfume River B, L, D

Our English-speaking guide will meet you at the hotel around 9 a.m. to go to visit the Imperial City.

Then discover Thien Mu pagoda before embarking on a traditional dragon boat and navigate the Perfume River to return to the city center.

After lunch, go to the countryside of Hue to discover the history of the Tomb of Tu Duc and to walk the paths of its gardens in the middle of the bodies of water.

Then, make a photo stop at the incense village and go back to the hotel.

In the evening, we will share a dinner together.

Day 10 - Hue, cooking class B, L

Around 10 a.m., transfer to this sublime restaurant to spend a half-day of historical and culinary discovery.

Join a little treasure of Hue where your English-speaking guide Nhien will share with you the history of her family settled in Hue for over 400 years. For about an hour, go back in time by discovering the beautiful garden and the ancestral home to immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture through the history of its many generations.

Then, it will be time to pass your aprons and sharpen your knives to prepare 2 traditional dishes of Hue according to the chef’s advice during this cooking class.

Finally, enjoy the fruit of your work and other dishes that will delight your palate in an idyllic setting.

Return to the hotel after lunch.

Day 11 - Route to Hoi An via the Hai Van Pass B

Departure from your hotel around 9 a.m. with our driver.

Take the road to Hoi An and enjoy a photo break at the Lang Co Lagoon.

Then from the Hai Van Pass, contemplate the region’s sumptuous landscapes, with its lush forests and panoramic sea views before arriving in Hoi An late morning.

Day 12 - Discovery of Hoi An and its artisans B, L

Departure around 8.30 a.m. with our English-speaking guide for a bicycle ride in the countryside of Hoi An.

Cross the Thu Bon River to reach the village of Kim Bong where you will meet the wood carvers. Also discover the work of mother of pearl, the manufacture of mats and the weaving of the famous basket boats.

Finally join Cam Thanh for a basket boat ride amidst mangrove before lunch. First discover the preparation of the banh xeo then enjoy a foot massage.

Go back to the hotel after lunch.

Late afternoon, around 6.30 p.m. go to this theme park that recreates the atmosphere of the old city center of Hoi An.

Walk in the lively streets of this park and discover traditional shows until 7.30 p.m.

You can eat in one of the many restaurants offering a diverse gastronomy.

At 7.45 p.m., take your seat at the Hoi An Memories Show for a 1-hour live cultural show about the history of Hoi An.

This performance focuses on 5 themes: Life in Hoi An, Marriage, Lanterns, the Port of Commerce and to finish the Ao Dai.

Day 13 - Leisure time in Hoi An B

Free day to enjoy the beaches of An Bang or explore the surroundings by bike.
Option: visit of My Son sanctuary, a remnant of the Cham kingdom.

Day 14 - Return flight from Da Nang B

Transfer to Danang airport during the day for you return flight.
