Thac Ba Lake and its surroundings
Description
A peaceful immersion in the heart of Lake Thac Ba
In the north of Vietnam, far from the hustle and bustle of big cities and tourist routes, extends Thac Ba Lake, a haven of tranquility where the water glitters between the green hills. With its thousands of islets, wooded banks and traditional villages, this vast artificial lake offers a setting of gentle and silent beauty, ideal for travelers in search of authenticity and preserved nature.
Here, life follows the rhythm of the lake: fishermen glide over the water at sunrise, families cultivate rice terraces and Dao villages perpetuate their ancestral traditions. In their wooden houses, the inhabitants welcome visitors with simplicity and generosity, sharing their culture, their local cuisine and their rural daily life.
Exploring Thac Ba Lake is taking the time to navigate its calm waters, walk in the surrounding hills, meet the artisans and admire the landscapes that change color over the day. It is an intimate, serene and deeply human experience, a timeless interlude in the heart of authentic North Vietnam.
