Description
Trip to Cambodia (18 days)
Going on an 18-day trip to Cambodia is opening up to a deeply moving world, where the millennial heritage of Angkor blends with the sweetness of the Khmer countryside and the incomparable warmth of its inhabitants. From the first moment, the country envelops you in its golden light, its sincere smiles, its landscapes that oscillate between endless rice fields, mysterious forests and villages on stilts to the rhythm of the Mekong.
Cambodia discovers itself as a treasure patiently carved by history. To the north, the temples of Angkor welcome you with dazzling majesty: giant roots entwined around sculptures, sandstone towers erected towards the sky, bas-reliefs telling the life of kings and gods - each stone seems to vibrate with an ancient energy. In Phnom Penh, the golden palaces, colorful markets and lively banks of the Tonle Sap unveil a vibrant and contrasting daily life.
But this journey is not limited to the great sites: it also takes you to the heart of local life, in serene villages where we share the meal, where we learn traditional crafts, where children laugh by the river. You pass through gentle landscapes, fertile countryside, regions still preserved where time passes slowly, with an authentic simplicity that touches deeply.
Then, as the days go by, you feel the soul of the country revealing itself: a discreet force, an admirable resilience, a fragile but intense beauty. This 18-day trip to Cambodia is a fabulous experience, an itinerary designed for those who wish to discover, understand, feel - explore a country that marks the heart as much as the gaze.
