3 days and 2 nights getaway from or to Hue to discover a natural treasure of Vietnam: The Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park Caves

Adventure in Phong Nha National Park - Ke Bang to discover the natural treasures that it houses with its incredible landscapes and numerous caves. On the way, discover the history of the DMZ to learn more about the Vietnam War with this ancient border that divided the country for many years.

Day 1 - From Hue to Phong Nha - Visit to the Demilitarized Zone (L):

Our English-pseaking tour guide vmeets you at your hotel in Hue, in the city center, around 9 a.m. Go toVinh Moc, to visit the famous tunnels housing an incredible complex that served as both accommodation and clinic and others. The population of the region found refuge there to protect themselves from the American bombing.

On the way, discover two churches in the area that are very important to the people of the region. La Vang church built in honor of the Virgin Mary and Long Hung church which highlights war damage and was a place of resistance of Vietnamese soldiers.

Then visit the Bien Hai River Museum at the 17th parallel and the Doc Mieu Base, a fort from the French colonial era.

Finally after lunch, say goodbye to your guide and continue the road to Phong Nha. Free dinner and overnight at the Phong Nha Lake House.

Day 2 - Phong Nha Park (B, L):

Our English-speaking tour guide meets you at the hotel around 9a.m. to go to discover two famous caves of Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park.

Start by venturing into the Paradise Cave, which you will reach after a hike up a prepared trail through the jungle. Go down through the immense cavity that forms its entrance to admire the huge vault of this cave with its many limestone stalactites.

After lunch, board a boat for a cruise along the river in the Phong Nha Cave. Discover the extraordinary work of nature that has carved the immense karst formations of this cave over millennia. Go back to the hotel. Free dinner and overnight at the Phong Nha Lake House.

Day 3 - Phong Nha Park (B, L):

After breakfast, around 8 a.m., meet our English-speaking guide to go on an adventure with a small group.

Go for a 9 km jungle hike to discover the Elephant Cave. Enjoy a relaxing moment near the Crystal Lake before enjoying a barbecue for lunch. In the afternoon, continue your trek in the jungle and discover Tra Ang Cave.

Finally, join the Ho Chi Minh trail to get out of the jungle and return to the hotel at 5.30 p.m. and end of services.

Possibility to add an extra night at the hotel or transfer to the train station or airport of Dong Hoi according to your needs (price on request).
