Day 1 | Hanoi
Our driver welcomes you at the airport to take you to the hotel. You will then receive our Travel Book with useful information and restaurant recommendations for your trip and your eSim.

Dive into the atmosphere of Hanoi in the 36-guild district during a cyclo ride.
Take a gourmet break and enjoy the egg coffee, a specialty of the city.
Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda on the shores of Ho Tay Lake.
After lunch, discover the Temple of Literature, before ending the day with a visit to the Vietnamese women’s museum where traditional women’s costumes are remarkably highlighted.
At the end of the day, assist to the waterpuppet show.
Day 3 | Hanoi | B

Day 4 | Hanoi - Mai Hich | B, L, D
Our English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel around 8 a.m. to take the road of Mai Hich via through Hoa Binh Village.
Stop at the top of the pass to enjoy the panoramic view over the valley of Mai Chau. Then, continue the journey to the village of Mai Chau where live the White Thais, ethnic minorities of the region, which you meet during lunch at home. Go by bycicle through the rice fields to discover the villages of the region and the daily life of the White Thais.
Continue your journey to Mai Hich by car before a 2-hour walk through the rice fields that will take you to your host’s for dinner and overnight at the homestay.
Day 5 | Mai Hich - Pu Luong | B, D
After breakfast, around 8:30, leave your hosts to join Pu Luong. Discover local life during a 2 to 3-hour walk through the rice fields and small trails used by farmers, then have lunch (not included) Ã la carte in a local restaurant overlooking the Pu Luong valley.
Continue your walk for another 1h30 to reach the guest house in Huyen Ba Thuoc which offers a panoramic view of Pu Luong for the night. Relaxation before cooking with your host and dinner then overnight at the homestay.
Day 6 | Pu Luong - Tam Coc | B, L
After breakfast, departure by car to go discover a waterfall of the area. Relaxation by the water and 1-hour walk before lunch with the local.
Enjoy a ride on a bamboo raft of the region before taking the road to Tam Coc where you will arrive in the late afternoon.
Day 7 | Tam Coc | B, L
Early departure from the hotel around 8 a.m., with our English-speaking guide.
Head to the stunning Van Long Nature Reserve and discover its beautiful scenery as you cruise on a small sampan while admiring its bird populations.
Then, go to Hoa Lu, former imperial capital, with its temples and pagodas, under the shade of century-old trees.
After lunch, discover another marvel of architecture, Bai Dinh Pagoda. It is the largest Buddhist complex in Southeast Asia, imbued with spirituality. You enter through the impressive Tam Quan gate before admiring the entire site, with its huge golden Buddha statues, caves and temples, surrounded by lush vegetation.
Day 8 | Tam Coc | B, L
Departure from the hotel around 9 a.m., with our English-speaking tour guide to go to Tay Phu village and visit of local market. Then, discover how the Bánh Chung is made, a traditional dish of the Tet festival in Vietnam.
After a lunch in a local house, meet the families who are still doing the local crafts: making rice noodles, water hyacinth baskets, reed mats, tofu... You will have the opportunity to discover and take part in their activities while providing them some support and additional income.
At the end of the day, go for a bicycle ride on the dam, in a peaceful setting away from the cars and among the flowers before returning to the hotel.
Day 9 | Tam Coc - Tu Long Bay | B, L, D
Departure by bus around 7 a.m. to go to the harbor of Ha Long.
On the boat, meet the English-speaking tour guide and start your cruise with the lunch in the middle of the impressive rocky peaks of Tu Long Bay.
In the afternoon, a kayak tour will immerse you in the magnificent landscapes of the bay near Cap La Island.
At the end of the day, admire the amazing sunset igniting the bay before dinner. Then discover squid fishing after dinner or relax with some board games, perfect for a family evening.
Day 10 | Tu Long Bay - Hue | B, L
If you are an early riser, marvel at the splendor of the sunrise over the immensity of the bay during a Tai Chi session.
After breakfast, discover Thienh Canh Son Cave.
Come back to the boat for check out and lunch, then return to the harbor to take the road to Hanoi where you arrive around 3 p.m.
In the evening, night train to Hue (transfer to the train station not included).

Day 11 | Hue | L, D
Our driver greets you at the station then transfer to the hotel. Around 10 a.m., departure with our English-speakin guide to discover Dong Ba market.
Late morning, a small boat awaits you on the lagoon for a boat ride. You will discover the local fishing, before enjoying a lunch based on seafood.
End your day by discovering the charming village of Thanh Thuy, its rural museum and its picturesque wooden bridge covered with tiles.
In the evening we will meet to enjoy a dinner together, which will be an opportunity to share about Vietnam.
Day 12 | Hue | B, L
Our English-speaking tour guide meets you at your hotel around 9 a.m. to go to the harbor and embark on a traditional dragon boat.
Cruise on the Perfume River and let yourself be carried by the stream to the marvelous Thien Mu Pagoda.
Then, go to visit the Imperial City.
After lunch, go to the countryside of Hue to discover the history of the Tomb of Tu Duc and to walk the paths of its gardens in the middle of the bodies of water.
Then, make a photo stop at the incense village and go back to the hotel.
Day 13 | Hue | B

Day 14 | Hue - Hoi An | B
Departure from your hotel around 9 a.m. with our driver.
Take the road to Hoi An and enjoy a photo break at the Lang Co Lagoon.
Then from the Hai Van Pass, contemplate the region’s sumptuous landscapes, with its lush forests and panoramic sea views.
Then make a stop at the Marble Mountain and venture out on this solitary limestone, at the southern edge of Danang which houses a complex of caves and pagodas before arriving in Hoi An.
Day 15 | Hoi An | B, L
Departure from your hotel around 9 a.m. with our English-speaking tour guide for a bicycle ride in the surrounding through the ricefields and the countryside.
Go for a basket boat trip to the village of Cam Thanh and discover the forest of the nipas, 3 km from the city, which invites you to a walk in the green.
After lunch, discover the pottery village of Thanh Ha known for its five hundred years of artisanal production.
Finally, visit the old town with its Chinese communal houses and the local market.
Day 16 | Hoi An | B, L
After breakfast, around 9 a.m., our English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel to go visit the old sanctuary of My Son.
After a one-hour drive through the countryside and rice fields, the "little Angkor of Vietnam", built by the Cham people in the 4th century and lasting until the 13th century, is revealed to you in its natural setting.
It highlights the remains of this civilization in a very natural setting.
Go back to Hoi An after lunch.

Transfer to Danang Airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to hotel.

Day 19 | Ho Chi Minh | B, L
Our English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel around 9 a.m.
Start the day by immersing yourself in the atmosphere of Chinatown. Venture through the stalls of the Soai Kinh Lam fabric market and visit the Thien Hau Pagoda known as the Heavenly Lady’s Pagoda, which protects the sailors and the fishermen.
Visit a temple dedicated to the founder of the goldsmith and then the church of Saint-François. Built at the end of the 19th century, the decoration of this church is known for its Chinese inscriptions on precious wooden plaques.
In the afternoon, after lunch, discover traditional Asian medicine during the visit of the Fito museum and then discover the streets of district 10 before returning to the hotel.
Day 20 | Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta | B, L, D
Leave around 8:30 a.m. from Ho Chi Minh with our English-speaking tour guide to Tien Giang province to discover the the cocoa plantations.
Discover the farm and the process of preparing chocolate from the harvest of the pods to obtaining a chocolate bar.
Take the time to taste the different products of this artisanal factory then opportunity to pick cocoa beans, plant new ones and/ or make yourself a confectionery.
After lunch, join the homestay and meet your host then discover the surroundings by bicycle to immerse yourself in the landscapes of the Mekong before dinner and at the homestay.
Day 21 | Mekong Delta | B, L, D
After breakfast, drive to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta. This city on the banks of the Mekong is full of local activities that you will discover during a boat trip. Visit a brick factory, discover a workshop making coconut candy, admire the meticulous work to handicraft woven mat and visit a bonsai village before lunch then go to Vinh Long for the dinner and night at the homestay.
Day 22 | Cai Be – Binh Minh– Tan Quoi | B, L, D
Transfer to Phu An Jetty at 8.30a.m. Observe life of the people going about their daily activities and stop at various points along the river for a look into some of the cottage industries of the region,including the making of coconut candy and puffed rice and a visit to an ancient house in Dong Hoa village and a clay pot factory.
Lunch is served on board while cruising towards Binh Minh along a narrow canal teeming with life. Enjoy shore excursions to gain insight into how the local people make a living, and stop for a visit to a Cao Dai temple.
Back to your sampan and enjoy the sunset cruise while Song Xanh continues its way towards the Hau River. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 23 | Tan Quoi – Can Tho | B, L, D
Wake up early at 6 a.m. for a visit to the famous Cai Rang Floating Market. Witness the hustle and bustle of the morning market as traders offer their wares on the waterway vying for attention from potential buyers. Breakfast is served on board while the Song Xanh navigates towards the market among local barges loaded down with fruits and vegetables from the Delta.

Phuong your English-speaking guide and cousin Hao will be your private guides for the day. To this day no traveler comes in this colorful, cheerful and very lively market. Strolling through the streets overloaded with goods, observing the surprise of the population is fun. Lunch on the spot.
Then departure at our friend making woven bamboo baskets near the river. Real valuable know-how. We will continue on our way to a charcoal company on the banks of the river. Families live in the workplace. Explanations and surprising meetings! Then go to our house through the mangroves. Dinner and evening with family.
Day 24 | Immersion with the locals | B, L, D
After breakfast, departure for a morning discovery of the scooter countryside as a passenger. The rice miller. This machine straight out of a Tim Burton movie will show you what happens upstream before this little grain of rice ends up on your plate. Lunch on the way.
Stop at a granny who makes brooms out of coconut rods, entirely by hand… Then visit Dèp our friend who makes incense sticks across the river.
Back home through the rice fields. Dinner and evening with family. We will teach you if you want to play Tien Len, a very popular card game here and/or kaaraooooke... Fun evening guaranteed!
Day 25 | Immersion with the locals | B, L, D
Breakfast then walk along the river. Then head to the school. As in the past… It smells good the dust inside the books with the cornered pages and the fine sand of the playground returned by these restless little feet propels us a few years back. A Vietnamese version of Tom Sawyer’s school. What an emotion to see the meeting of children from two different countries. Visit a blacksmith by the river. Knives, sickles, machetes have no secrets for him. Lunch on the way or at home. Then walk in our fruit garden behind the house and/or initiation to the manufacture of coconut massage oil. Dinner and night in the homestay.
