Ho Chi Minh is a very big city full of animation. Nevertheless, if you don’t like big cities, you can just spend a night there before catching your flight back. Otherwise, two good days of visit allow to already have a good overview of the city center. By adding a day, you can explore the Cu Chi tunnels and the great Cao Dai temple and it is also the gateway to the Mekong Delta, to venture into the meanders of this majestic river of Southeast Asia.
For a getaway in nature, nothing beats a getaway of one or two nights in the incredible Nam Cat Tien National Park to discover the wild fauna and flora or a day of adventure in the mangroves of Nam Giao at the mouth of the Saigon River.
