Hue, in central Vietnam is easily accessible from all of Vietnam.
If you are arriving from North Vietnam, here are the options:
- from Hanoi you can take the train, night bus or simply fly with direct flights for faster transport.
- from Ninh Binh, we recommend the night train to book in advance or a night bus that you can usually book through your hotel.
- from Phong Nha, you can get off by making a day of sightseeing by car in the Demilitarized Zone or take the bus from Phong Nha or the train from Dong Hoi.
If you are arriving from South Vietnam:
- from Hoi An, go by car or motorcycle to admire the landscapes of the region from the Hai Van Pass
- from Danang it is nice to take the train by choosing a seat on the right side to enjoy the sea view.
- from Ho Chi Minh, flying is the fastest and most comfortable way to get to the historic capital of the country.
