When to visit the caves?
To discover the caves of Phong Nha, you must pay attention to the period of the year. Indeed, the structure of the caves made that they are strongly impacted by the rains, so during the rainy season from November to January, they are regularly closed.
Similarly in case of severe weather in central Vietnam, during tropical storm passages, often in the month of October, caves can be flooded and therefore inaccessible.
We strongly recommend that you plan your stay in Vietnam between the months of March and September.
