Mekong Tour 3 days - Cocoa and craft option

This 3-day Mekong tour takes you to the heart of an authentic Vietnam, between rivers, orchards and handicraft villages. An immersion in the sweetness of the South, punctuated by encounters, gustative discoveries and simple moments shared with the inhabitants of the Mekong delta.

Day 1 - Cocoa plantations and local life in the Mekong

Depart around 8:30 .a.m. from Ho Chi Minh with our English-speaking tour guide to Tien Giang province to discover the cocoa plantations.

Discover the farm and the process of preparing chocolate from the harvest of the pods to obtaining a chocolate bar.

Take the time to taste the different products of this artisanal factory then opportunity to pick cocoa beans, plant new ones and/ or make yourself a confectionery.

After lunch, join the homestay and meet your host then discover the surroundings by bicycle to immerse yourself in the landscapes of the Mekong before dinner and at the homestay.

Jour 2 – Balade à vélo, vergers tropicaux et artisanat local

After breakfast around 8.30 a.m., go with our English-speaking guide to Cai Be and venture by bike on the island of An Binh to discover its many lush orchards and observe local activities, rice alcohol, beekeeping, etc. before going through the arroyos by boat.

After lunch, continue to discover the culture of the Mekong and its traditional music as well as its typical houses before reaching Can Tho in the late afternoon.

Day 3 - Cai Rang Floating Market and return to Ho Chi Minh City

At 6 or 7 a.m., for or after breakfast, go with our English-speaking guide to discover the floating market of Cai Rang where traders from nearby villages exchange all kinds of products. Then, discover the land market then the Orchids House of Binh Thuy before returning to Ho Chi Minh with a stop along the way to visit a small Caodaist temple.

Mekong Tour 3 days - Option coconut and floating villages

This 3-day Mekong tour immerses you in the heart of coconut country, in the province of Ben Tre, one of the most authentic in South Vietnam. Here, the landscapes are shaped by water and coconut trees, the inhabitants live to the rhythm of the river, and the sweetness of the Mekong is expressed in each encounter.

Day 1 - Ben Tre, between coconut trees and peaceful canals

Leave around 8.30 a.m. from Ho Chi Minh with our English-speaking tour guide to go to the province of Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta.

This town on the banks of the Mekong River is full of diverse local activities that you will discover during a boat ride and by tuk tuk. Discover how brooms are made from coconut leaves, taste exotic fruits, etc. then sails through the arroyos in a small sampan.

After lunch, join the homestay and meet your host then discover the surroundings by bike to immerse yourself in the landscapes of the Mekong before dinner and night at the homestay.

Day 2 - Local life, fishing and coconut picking

After breakfast around 8.30 a.m., departure with our English-speaking guide to enjoy a bike ride in the heart of Coconut Country on small shady paths to the island of Oc, nestled in the middle of the Ham Luong River. Discover the daily life of the inhabitants of the Mekong delta and their handicraft and agricultural activities. Their houses hidden in lush vegetation appear in front of you.

After lunch, take part in local activities: freshwater shrimp fishing using a hawk and picking coconut with a long pole before going to Vinh Long and meeting your host for the night, then dinner at the homestay.

Day 3 - Cai Rang floating market and end of the circuit
