Do not forget to immerse yourself in the limestones formations of Halong Bay, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
During your visit to Hue, the ancient historic capital, let’s take the time to meet for a friendly exchange to share about Vietnam before finishing your trip in the city of Hoi An admiring its beautiful architecture under the light of the lanterns.

Day 1 | Hanoi
Our English-speaking driver meets you at the airport then transfer to the hotel.
You will then receive our Travel Book with useful information and restaurant recommendations for your trip and your eSim.
Day 2 | Hanoi | B, L
Our English-speaking tour guide meets you at your hotel in the city center around 8 a.m.
Dive into the atmosphere of Hanoi in the 36-guild district during a cyclo ride.
Take a gourmet break and enjoy the egg coffee, a specialty of the city.
Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda on the shores of Ho Tay Lake.
After lunch, discover the Temple of Literature, before ending the day with a visit to the Vietnamese women’s museum where traditional women’s costumes are remarkably highlighted.
At the end of the day, assist to the waterpuppet show.
Day 3 | Hanoi | B
Leisure day in Hanoi according to the recommendations of our Travel Book.
Day 4 | Hanoi | B, L
Our English-speaking tour guide meets you around 8a.m. Leave for the old town of Duong Lam where time seems to have stopped.
Along the way, visit the Tay Phuong Pagoda before arriving at the village of Mong Phu, a typical village of the Red River Delta with its more than 1,200-year history full of old houses dating from the 17th century. Walk the small streets of the village in the middle of the laterite walls that have acquired this pretty brown color over time, discover how soy sauce is made, taste local specialties and visit the communal house and then haves lunch in a local house.
In the afternoon, visit Mia’s Pagoda and then Thay Pagoda, known as the Master’s Pagoda.
Day 5 | Hanoi - Mai Hich | B, L, D
Our English-speaking tour guide meets you at your hotel arround 8 a.m. to take the road to Mai Hich via the village of Hoa Binh.
Stop at the top of the pass to enjoy the panoramic view of the Mai Chau valley. Then continue the journey to the village of Mai Chau, home of the White Thais ethnic minority, whom you meet during you lunch with the locals. Cycle through the rice fields to discover the villages of the region and the daily life of the White Thais.
Continue your journey to Mai Hich by car before a 2-hour walk through the rice fields that will take you to your host’s for dinner and overnight at the homestay.
Day 6 | Mai Hich - Pu Luong | B, D
After brekafast, around 8.30 a.m., leave your host to go to Pu Luong. Discover the local life during a 2-3 hour walk through rice fields and small paths taken by farmers, then lunch (not included) Ã la carte in a local restaurant overlooking the Pu Luong Valley.
Continue your walk for another 1h30 to reach the guest house in Huyen Ba Thuoc which offers a panoramic view of Pu Luong for the night. Relax before cooking with your host and dinner. and overnight at the homestay..
Day 7 | Pu Luong - Tam Coc| B, L
After breakfast, drive to discover a waterfall in the region. Relaxation by the water and 1-hour walk before lunch with the local.
Enjoy a ride on a bamboo raft of the region before taking the road to Tam Coc where you will arrive in the late afternoon.
Day 8 | Tam Coc | B, L
Departure from your hotel around 8 a.m. with our English-speaking tour guide.
Head to the stunning Van Long Nature Reserve and discover its beautiful scenery as you cruise on a small sampan while admiring its bird populations.
Then, go to Hoa Lu, former imperial capital, with its temples and pagodas, under the shade of century-old trees.
After lunch, discover another architectural wonder, Bai Dinh Pagoda. It is the largest Buddhist complex in Southeast Asia, imbued with spirituality. You enter through the impressive Tam Quan gate before admiring the entire site, with its huge golden Buddha statues, caves and temples, surrounded by lush vegetation.
Day 9 | Tam Coc | B
Leisure day in Ninh Binh according to the recommendations of our Travel Book. Bicycles are available at the hotel.
Day 10 | Tam Coc - Tu Long Bay | B, L, D
Departure by minibus, around 7 a.m., to go to the harbor of Ha Long.
On the boat, start your cruise with the lunch in the middle of the impressive rocky peaks of Lan Ha Bay.
In the afternoon, a kayak tour will immerse you in the magnificent landscapes of the bay near Cap La Island.
At the end of the day, admire the amazing sunset igniting the bay before dinner. Then discover squid fishing after dinner or relax with some board games, perfect for a family evening.
Day 11 | Tu Long Bay | B, L, D
If you wake up early morning, enjoy the sunrise on the bay during a Tai Chi session before breakfast.
In the morning join a small boat for the day then kayak ride or relax on the boat.
After lunch, visit floating villages and the fishing village of Vung Vieng in Tu Long Bay in a small raft.
Then, depending on the weather, discover the Thay cave before returning to the boat in the late afternoon to relax before dinner.
Day 12 | Lan Ha Bay - Hué | B, L
If you are an early riser, marvel at the splendor of the sunrise over the immensity of the bay during a Tai Chi session.
After breakfast, discover Thienh Canh Son Cave.
Come back to the boat check out and lunch then return to the harbor to go to Hanoi aiport for the flight to Hue. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 13 | Hue | B, L, D
Around 7.45 a.m., departure with our English-speaking tour guide, for the Forbidden City, where you begin your visit with the changing of the guard. The Royal Palace, UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a splendid set of monuments made of impressive walls and refined palaces.
Late morning, a small boat awaits you on the lagoon for a boat ride. You will discover the local fishing, before enjoying a lunch based on seafood.
End your day by discovering the charming village of Thanh Thuy, its rural museum and its picturesque wooden bridge covered with tiles.
In the evening we will meet to enjoy a dinner together, which will be an opportunity to share about Vietnam.
Day 14 | Hue | B, L
Our English-speaking tour guide meets you at your hotel in the city center around 8 a.m. and you go to discover some handicrafts of Hue.
Start by discovering the homemade production of rice noodles typical of Hue that you can enjoy in the Bun Bo and other dishes of the region.
Continue your discovery with a bamboo workshop before admiring the work of weaving the reed to make the famous conical hat and bags.
Late morning discover a local pottery workshop and explore a timeless village with its traditional houses.
Finally enjoy a lunch on the seaside and relax on the beach before returning to Hue around 4.30 p.m.
Day 15 | Hue | B, L
Our English-speaking tour guide meets you at your hotel around 8 a.m.
In the morning, discover the peaceful environment of a monastery located in the mountains near Hue and marvel at its orchids.
Then, go to the countryside of Hue to discover the history of the Tomb of Tu Duc and to walk the paths of its gardens in the middle of the bodies of water.
After lunch, learn how to make paper flowers with deaf and mute people and you will have an original souvenir to bring back from your trip.
Day 16 | Hue - Hoi An | B
Departure from your hotel around 9 a.m. with our English-speaking driver.
Take the road to Hoi An and enjoy a photo break at the Lang Co Lagoon.
Then from the Hai Van Pass, contemplate the region’s sumptuous landscapes, with its lush forests and panoramic sea views.
Then make a stop at the Marble Mountain and venture out on this solitary limestone, at the southern edge of Danang which houses a complex of caves and pagodas before arriving in Hoi An.
Day 17 | Hoi An | B, L
Departure from your hotel around 10.30 a.m. with our English-speaking driver.
Spend a few hours outside of Hoi An to discover this rum factory.
Visit the distillery during 45 minutes and discover all the equipments, the laboratory and the aging cellar, then enjoy a lunch while enjoying three white rums and two aged rums.
Leisure afternoon.
Day 18 | Hoi An | B, L
Around 8a.m., join a small group and meets our English-speaking tour guide for a 9 km country bike and boat ride.
Throughout the day, you will go to meet the inhabitants of the region to discover their trades, including boat building, braiding, preparation of rice alcohol, etc.
Discover how the famous basket boats of the region are made and learn about their handling that requires agility and dexterity.
For lunch, take a break in a local traditional house.
Late afternoon, around 6.30 p.m. go to this theme park that recreates the atmosphere of the old city center of Hoi An.
Walk in the lively streets of this park and discover traditional shows until 7.30p.m.
You can eat in one of the many restaurants offering a diverse gastronomy.
At 7.45p.m., take your seat at the Hoi An Memories Show for a 1-hour live cultural show about the history of Hoi An.
This performance focuses on 5 themes: Life in Hoi An, Marriage, Lanterns, the Port of Commerce and to finish the Ao Dai.
Day 19 | Hoi An | B, L
In the morning, around 9a.m., visit the market of Hoi An with the English-speaking chef and discover the colorful stalls.
This will be an opportunity to buy the necessary ingredients for your cooking class.
Then head to the village of Tra Que, a permaculture village where the restaurant is located, and discover the local practices of the region’s farmers.
Go to the restaurant and enjoy a herbal foot bath before participating in the cooking class of about 3 hours and learning to prepare Vietnamese dishes.
Day 20 | Hoi An | B

Day 21 | Hoi An – Return flight | B
Transfer to Danang airport during the day for you return flight.
