Along the way, visit the Tay Phuong Pagoda before arriving at the village of Mong Phu, a typical village of the Red River Delta with its more than 1,200-year history, its old houses dating from the 17th century. Walk through the small streets of the village in the middle of the laterite walls that have acquired this pretty brown color over time, discover how soy sauce is made, taste local specialties and visit the communal house and then haves lunch in a local house.
In the afternoon, visit Mia’s Pagoda and then Thay Pagoda, known as the Master’s Pagoda. Finally, go back to Hanoi.

Tay Phuong Pagoda - Masterpiece of Buddhist sculpture
Located on a green hill, the Tay Phuong pagoda (or "Western Pagoda") is a masterpiece of Vietnamese religious art.
Built in the eighth century and restored in the eighteenth, it seduces with its three-level architecture, superimposed roofs and finely chiseled details.
Inside, you will discover 62 statues in lacquered wood, representing Buddhist figures, bodhisattvas and demons with a striking realism.
Each sculpture seems inhabited by an emotion: joy, fear, meditation or compassion.
The panoramic view from the hill over the surrounding countryside adds to the spiritual dimension of the place.
The Mia Pagoda - Treasury of the Tran Dynasty
The Mia pagoda, nestled in the heart of the village of the same name, is one of the oldest in the country.
Built in the 15th century, it is distinguished by its solid wood architecture and its impressive collection of ancient statues, more than a hundred, including representations of Buddha and protective deities.
Surrounded by century-old trees and peaceful pools, the Mia pagoda invites contemplation.
The inhabitants come there to pray, light incense and place offerings, thus perpetuating Buddhist rites transmitted for centuries.
